__Who publishes tabulature for lute and related instruments?__

This list is intended for the benefit of retailers, and of lute players, who want to request catalogues, visit websites, or order music. It provides contact details of all music publishers whose current catalogues include one or more tablature publications, and of some of the main specialist sheet music dealers and retailers. It is divided into four sections:

- lute societies which publish music in tablature 
 - publishers with six or more tablature titles in their catalogues
 - publishers with five or fewer tablature publications
 - sheet music dealers who specialise in stocking early music

Several of these dealers issue catalogues: at present the most comprehensive list of lute (and guitar) music in print is to be found at the website of Tabulatura (which can be reached directly, or via Kenneth Sparr’s homepage, via the Lute Society’s website). We would like to thank Kenneth Sparr for his help in compiling this list.
